Enquiring Together – Krishnamurti Network

Forgive while I indulge myself to a rant and impose this upon anyone who opens this blog.

Was just considering a phrase that I see often on here, and which i’ve probably used myself: that of ‘enquiring together’. Usually we post blogs (this one included) to begin an enquiry which we hope will lead to some sort of insight into core elements of K’s teachings, probably linked with ending our own or others’ suffering.

It seems that when i ask questions of others, or hope to engage others in dialogue on K-related matters, it is not (if i’m honest) really about reaching a shared enlightenment, but the real motivation is selfish in that I am on here, or meeting others also enquiring, in the hope that they will help carry me (and possibly as an added bonus carry them) to some better level of understanding, or to positive effect upon my conditioned consciousness.
